It is the carbon compound and its allotrope. It is discovered by Harold W. Kroto and Richard E. Smelly.

It is the discrete C-60 molecules appear as soccer ball, hence called bucky ball.

It is the covalent compound and hence soluble in organic solvents.

This element is superconductor below 18K. It reacts with alkali metals to form solids.
