Palaemon, a prawn

Palaemon is the scientific name for the prawn. It is found in the freshwater pond, ditches etc. It is nocturnal, hiding at the bottom during the day and coming to the surface at night in search of the food. It is commonly found in India.

Body of the Palaemon is elongated more or less spindle shaped bilateral measuring about 25 cm in length. they have 19 pairs of the appendages.

Yes.. They are in good in the view of health.. But I'm a vegetarian, so I don't like it.. Still thank you so much for sharing that thread with us in this forum..
